PHS Datashred working with law firm Mishcon de Reya
Being a large law firm, Mishcon de Reya's London site understandably produces a significant quantity of paper waste. Much of this paper waste is highly confidential, and therefore needs to be handled in a safe and secure manner, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. PHS Datashred have been supplying the firm with a confidential shredding service for six years. The BSIA accredited company were chosen for their excellent service levels, security assurances, staff and reliability. The contents of the 15 wheelie bins of confidential paper waste is collected from Mishcon’s London office twice weekly, and shredded in a secure mobile shredding vehicle, on site. From there, the shredded material is transported to one of Datashred’s secure depots for baling. The shredded paper waste is then collected for recycling by a paper mill.
