As well as being able to offer an environmentally responsible disposal route for waste paper and other media, Restore Datashred also demonstrates a high level of security for data protection. Anthony Pearlgood, commercial director at Restore Datashred praised Mishcon de Reya for their awareness and concern about the Data Protection Act, “We work closely with Mishcon to maintain their current high level of compliance, and advise them about what needs to be done to protect their information. Like all organisations, Mishcon needs to ensure that they employ a secure document destruction provider.”
The contents of the 15 wheelie bins of confidential paper waste is collected from Mishcon’s London office twice weekly, and shredded in a secure mobile shredding vehicle, on site. From there, the shredded material is transported to one of Datashred’s secure depots for baling. The shredded paper waste is then collected for recycling by a paper mill.
